Neočekivano plavetnilo
It seems like the Brazilian edition of Elle magazine couldn't wait for five more months to do a sea editorial so they decided to publish one in January edition. Don't get me wrong - I LOVE the idea of mixing "incompatible" ideas together. But then again, what is incompatible? In my opinion everything is compatible if you do it right. This watery editorial named "Sexy On The Beach" did a great job at combining the winter atmosphere (cold colors) with the vision of upcoming summer 2012 (warm colors). This editorial threw a mermaid onto the surface and dressed her up in glittery, shiny dresses and skirts that remind us of fish scales. The whole idea I think was to emphasize the harmony of the model with the almighty sea from which she emerged.

Čini se da brazilsko uredništvo poznatog modnog časopisa Elle nije moglo čekati još dugih pet mjeseci kako bi objavilo morski editorial, stoga su već u siječanjskom broju na površinu "izbacili" šljokičastu morsku sirenu. Ovo je trebalo zvučati kao pozitivna opaska - osobno mi se jako sviđa čitava ideja spajanja nespojivog, u ovom slučaju zime i ljeta, mračne atmosfere sa onom optimističnom. Ovaj vodeni editorial, naziva "Sexy On The Beach", u isto vrijeme dočarava hladnoću i toplinu: aktualno zimsko godišnje doba pomiješano je sa vizijom nadolazećeg ljeta. Svjetlucava odjeća na modelu asocira na riblje ljuskice što naglašava dojam skladne povezanosti modela sa dubinama iz kojih je upravo imaginarno izronila.
